chinese - The Chinese Mailing List of UU

This list is the Chinese mailing list in University of Utah. Chinese Mailing List is set up by Chinese Student and Scholar Association at University of Utah (CSSAUU) for the primary purpose of exchanging the information that provides convenience among Chinese students and scholars. The general definition of "information" here is selling and buying things, promotions, trip, car sharing, partys, information requests and any other information that CSSAUU considers to be "providing convenience for Chinese students and scholars Please use your @utah.edu domain email address when you subscribe. If for any reason you can not use your @utah.edu email address, please provide one address with your full name and also your phone number for the list owner to contact you for confirmation. Again, The easiest way to subscibe the list is to use a UU email account, such as yourname@xxx.utah.edu or Uxxxxxxx@utah.edu. You can click on the "Subscribe" in the left menu. or click here and use your UU email accout to subscribe.

If you do not have a UU email account or you do not want to subscribe with your UU acount, please email chinese-request@lists.utah.edu with your name, reasons and preferably UID. The owner will check it and decide whether you will be added in or not.

To better serve it functions, there are a few rules for this list:

1. Abide any law of United States of America;
2. Abide any regulation of University of Utah;
3 The owner of the list is not responsible for the accuracy of any message posted on this list;
4. The owner of the list reserves the right to suspend or remove a person from this mailing list if he posts anything that list owner considers to be not proper;
5. No personal attack, no rumors, no spam e-mails, no porn messages.
6. Advertisements, when posted not so frequently (less than once per month, or preferably twice per semester), are OK. But the advertisements written in the form of "customer's experience" are not welcomed anytime. 7. Political arguements or discussions of any kinds are not welcomed. 8. Information (date, location, participants) about Bible study or church -related activities ARE welcomed. But religious discussion is NOT. 9. Any complaints to a specific E-mail should be sent directly to the sender or cssauu@gmail.com instead to the mailing list. If CSSAUU receives multiple complaints about one E-mail, the sender may be notified. 10. If CSSAUU has to constantly notify a subscriber, he/she may be unsubscribed. Especially those who are notified for the same reason for more than once in a short period.
补充说明：
1. 对于任何在Chinese list上进行人身攻击、散播谣言的行为，不论程度轻重，不论原因，概不容忍。凡参与发信、回信及传播的相关人员，全部从Chinese list上删除，并且永久记录在案，不再允许以任何email address加入Chinese list。事件中涉及到的人员，只要没有以任何方式在Chinese list上回复、转发、及传播，不予追究责任。
2. 对于有敏感信息，或不知道是否可以发送到Chinese list上，请发信向cssauu@gmail.com询问。若此类信件造成不良影响，经查证未经允许，相关人员将不再被允许加入Chinese list。
3. 由于历史等原因，不排除有些现在的Chinese list subscriber身份和目的并不单纯。有些居心叵测的人员也可能会以某些方式利用subscriber来达到某些目的。比如，08年4月份左右曾发生过向subscriber发送私人信件，但伪装成向Chinese list发信，用激怒收信人的方式致使收信人回复，在收信人不知情（不排除故意的可能）的情况下，回复的信件利用收信人被发到了Chinese list上。为防止此类事件再次发生，请所有subscriber擦亮眼睛。对于内容敏感或者使subscriber产生疑问的标有【C】的信件，请不要回信，立即发信向cssauu@gmail.com询问，我们会即时查证。如果出现类似情况，而subscriber未经允许以回复或者其他任何方式将信息传播到Chinese list上，我们将查证并记录在案，针对调查情况决定是否取消该subscriber的资格。
4. 在任何情况下，Chinese list的管理员不放弃将相关情况向学校反映及采取法律手段的可能。
